if you have not bought the card online but using any other method (from our dealer, or tour operator etc.) you should activate your card in order to get access to your account. Please take into consideration, that notwithstanding the activation procedure is done or not, the Cash Back sums are transferred to your account.

Who can become an owner of the GeoRefund card?
The owner of the GeoRefund card can be any person (tourist), i.e. a foreigner temporarily staying in Georgia. The maximum validity period of the GeoRefund card is 30 calendar days from the first use of the card. The moment of the first use of the card is the date of the first fixation of the cost of services received by the cardholder in the GeoRefund accounting system.

Note that GeoRefund card is active (ie it can accumulate money) from the moment of its acquisition. When purchasing goods or services in the Partners' organizations, the cardholder receives a check confirming the amount of the paid amount when paying from the cashier. Take this check, present your GeoRefund card to the cashier and ask the cashier to fix the amount you spent in the GeoRefund accounting system. The cashier will enter the system, scan your card, check the payment and enter the amount paid into your system, after this procedure the amount of money spent by you and the amount of accumulated cashback will be fixed on your account in the GeoRefund system. After the completion of this procedure, the cashier will return to you your GeoRefund card, as well as a check.
Please take into consideratiom, that the fixation of spent money described above should be made immediately after payment for services or purchase of goods. You have the right to ask the fixation of all those expenses in the GeoRefund system that were incurred with your participation (for example, you paid for services received by persons who are not owners of GeoRefund cards). Note that the same costs (expenses indicated on the same check) can not be fixed in the GeoRefund system several times.
If for any reason it is impossible to fix your expenses, keep checks confirming payment and on the same day let us know about it on the hotline (hotline phone 5 99 000 0000), otherwise no complaints are accepted.
How to access your account in GeoRefund?
If you purchased a card from the www.georefund.com website, then you have automatic access to your account. If you purchased the GeoRefund card from our distributor, then you need to go through the activation procedure. To do this, go to www.georefund.com in the Activation section and follow the procedure described there.

In order to get refund online, you need to log in on our website (georefund.com) and follow instructions of online refund. After you finish ordering your refund online, Georefund will send the amount of money you have accumulated on georefund card via WESTERN UNION in maximum 7 days. WESTERN UNION money transfer may charge you according to the amount of money you receive and country in which you want to get refund.

Refund/Return Policy Online Purchase
If there is a need for a tourist to return paid money while purchasing online, money can and will be returned if the tourist decides not to arrive in Georgia and has bought the card and never used.
To receive money accumulated through GeoRefund cards, go to any of our Refund offices, present your card, your passport and collected receipts confirmed money spent and fixed in card Partner organizations. The manager of the office will recheck the amounts accumulated on your account, make a conversion to the currency that you indicated when the card was activated and give you your amount. At the same time, your card is deactivated - it will no longer be possible to use it. In case the amount accumulated by you exceeds $ 100, the manager will fix your bank account and the refund money will be transferred to your bank account.
If for any reason you do not have time to go through the procedure for returning the accumulated money, please note that you have the right to receive the amount due to you within 3 years from the date of purchase of the card. After this period, no claims will be accepted and the amount will not be refunded.
